Detailed introduction
XM Series Distribution Boxes
I. Product Description
Lighting/power control distribution boxes and meter boxes are available in standard, outdoor, and transparent-window models. Depending on user requirements, they can be installed either surface-mounted or flush-mounted, catering to customers' diverse needs.
II. Operating Environment
1. The ambient air temperature must not exceed +40°C, nor fall below -5°C;
2. For indoor installation and use, the altitude of the location must not exceed 200 meters;
3. The relative humidity of the surrounding air should not exceed 50% at the highest temperature of +40°C, though higher relative humidity levels are permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., up to 90% at +20°C). It is important to account for the potential impact of condensation caused by temperature fluctuations.
4. During equipment installation, the tilt angle relative to the vertical plane should not exceed 5%.
5. The equipment should be installed in a location free from severe vibrations and shocks, as well as in an environment where electrical components won’t be exposed to corrosion.
III. Structural Features
1. The XM series of lighting, electric meters, power control distribution boxes, and meter boxes are available in universal, outdoor, and transparent-window models. This product line boasts a wide range of applications and can be customized with various electrical components to create control systems tailored to specific needs—such as air-conditioning control boxes, machine tool drive control boxes, pump control boxes, and fire-fighting control boxes, among others.
2. The distribution box can be installed either flush-mounted or wall-mounted for operation and maintenance at the front.
3. The enclosure is made from galvanized steel sheet or SMC material, making installation and maintenance convenient. It also features internal door mounting brackets available for customer selection. Additionally, the upper and lower walls of the enclosure are equipped with knockout holes, allowing easy installation of cables or conduits in various sizes.
4. The outer door can be designed with a glass window structure, allowing clear observation of the components inside the cabinet.

V. Scope of Application
Distribution boxes are widely used in residential buildings, high-end office buildings, upscale apartments, industrial and mining enterprises, workshops, and factory premises as indoor lighting distribution systems and for powering small-scale equipment in single-phase two-wire, single-phase three-wire, three-phase four-wire, and three-phase five-wire power supply systems. They are also commonly employed in residential electricity metering and billing devices.
