Rare Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center

To better improve the current situation of care for patients with rare diseases, fully leverage the hospital’s high-quality resources to serve this specialized patient population, and align with our hospital’s strategic positioning as a national-level center for diagnosing and treating complex, severe illnesses, the hospital established the Rare Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center in 2016. The center is headed by our hospital’s president, Li Weimin, who also serves as its director, and it operates under the outpatient department. By consolidating patients, pooling expert resources, and integrating cutting-edge research platforms, the center coordinates the diagnosis, treatment, and data collection for rare disease patients visiting our hospital.
