1. Excellent Service with a Focus on Specialization—Innovative Initiatives Yield Tangible Results
We took the lead in the province by establishing a "one-stop" admission and examination-appointment center, where examination bookings are managed through a centralized scheduling system, ensuring 100% availability of time-slot appointments. This initiative has laid a solid foundation for the hospital to successfully implement day-case surgeries and significantly reduce the average length of hospital stays. The Jiangxi Provincial Health Commission has since adopted our hospital’s "one-stop" admission and examination-appointment center as a model, rolling it out across the entire province. Awarded the title of "National Hospital Outstanding in Quality Nursing Services" by the National Health Commission, the hospital has also earned several prestigious accolades: the Best Performance Award at the 2017 National Hospital Competition Finals of the "Improving Medical Services Initiative," the Bronze Award at the 2019 National Hospital Competition Finals under the same initiative, and most notably, the Gold Award at the 2020 National Hospital Competition Finals—making it the sole winner from Jiangxi province.

3. Fighting the Pandemic While Staying True to Our Mission: Nursing Heroines Guarding the Frontline
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, our hospital’s nursing staff has fearlessly stepped up to the frontlines, braving countless challenges. To date, more than 5,000 nursing personnel have been deployed to support epidemic control efforts across provinces and cities, including Wuhan, Shanghai, Xinjiang, Suizhou, Shangrao, and Nanchang. Over the past three years of the pandemic, the nurses at our Second Affiliated Hospital have remained steadfast in their strong professional commitment, putting the needs of patients above personal concerns and dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to safeguarding lives and alleviating suffering—fulfilling the medical oath they took to honor life and uphold the values of healing and compassion. This outstanding team, predominantly made up of women, has taken on the most demanding and physically taxing roles in clinical care at hospitals receiving targeted support. Together, they’ve completed over 7.14 million community-based nucleic acid testing sessions, successfully treated more than 20,000 COVID-19 patients, and achieved remarkable results: zero errors in nursing care, zero safety incidents during production, and zero patient complaints throughout the entire process.
The team innovatively established the "Jiangxi Family-Care Rescue Model," which employs a three-tier management system and organizes responsibilities into dedicated teams, ensuring the safe delivery of medical care. To enhance the success rate of rescuing critically ill patients, they formed a Youth Commando Unit and specialized nursing groups. Additionally, to help reduce post-traumatic stress disorder among patients, they created a "Healing Hearts" outreach team, offering personalized psychological support through an integrated "online + offline" counseling approach. Beyond clinical care, the team even takes time during breaks to record soothing, uplifting readings, using their "angelic voices" to ease patients' anxiety and boost their confidence in overcoming illness. They’ve also launched the "Hong Hong You You" mini-classes, educating patients on essential pandemic prevention and health-promotion knowledge. Moreover, the medical team fully leverages the expertise of specialized nurses, collaborating with cardiovascular, critical care, respiratory, geriatric, and other specialty nurses to conduct joint rounds. This collaborative approach ensures that elderly patients receive tailored, high-quality care. The team also actively conducts comprehensive geriatric assessments, developing coordinated short-term or long-term treatment, rehabilitation, and care plans specifically designed to preserve seniors’ functional abilities and significantly improve their quality of life.
The courageous "Jiangxi Women" fear no hardship, bravely shoulder heavy responsibilities, and dare to innovate—doing their utmost to serve patients and contributing significantly to healthcare efforts across the country.
