A prefabricated substation (also known as a box-type substation or European-style box substation, commonly referred to as "Euro-substation") is a mobile, complete electrical distribution system assembled in advance at the factory. It consists of high- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, and an enclosure, and is designed to replace traditional, site-built substations while delivering both substation and distribution functions.
This series of dry-type transformers is designed for use in 6–35kV, three-phase AC power systems operating at 50Hz. The product has earned an independently developed invention patent for its low noise, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly features, making it widely applicable in applications such as transmission and distribution systems, hotels, high-rise buildings, commercial centers, sports venues, petrochemical plants, airports, railway stations, high-speed rail lines, subway systems, offshore drilling platforms—and especially in scenarios where installation space is limited, proximity to load centers is required, or special fire safety standards must be met. In these cases, the transformer’s compact size and excellent flame-retardant properties truly shine.
Energy storage systems store electricity when supply is abundant and prices are low, and release it during peak demand or high-price periods, helping to reduce carbon emissions, optimize power resource allocation, and ensure a stable electricity supply.
